If something in the almanac is not behaving as it ought — a chime that did not arrive, a streak that vanished, a fern in the species library you cannot find — I would very much like to hear about it. There is no automated reply machine sitting between us. Just a small wooden desk, a kettle, and a kind correspondent named Daniil who reads every letter that comes through.
Most replies arrive within a day or two, sometimes faster if the kettle is already hot. Please write in plain words, mention which device you keep your garden on, and describe what you saw versus what you hoped to see. That is usually quite enough.
With warmth, and a small bow toward your windowsill —
— the keeper of the almanac
The fastest route. General questions, gentle hellos, anything at all.
If something is broken, send a note with a quick sketch of what went wrong.
Suggestions, species you wish were in the library, kind words for the fern.
First, peek at your device's notification settings — sometimes the chime gets quietly muted by the system. If that looks correct, ensure the almanac is allowed to run in the background. If still nothing, write to us and mention what kind of device you keep your garden on.

Nothing dramatic. An early watering is logged as a kept day. The next chime simply shifts to match the new rhythm. Plants are forgiving creatures.
Yes. Use the "common name" and "scientific name" fields when adding a new flower, and set the watering cadence yourself. We are always quietly expanding the species library — write to us if you would like a particular plant added by name.
The garden is kept on your device. We are working on a small, optional cloud journal so it can travel with you. For now, we recommend writing down your species list before changing devices — a charming task, really.
The almanac is offered freely, with optional small contributions for those who wish to support its keeping. No ads, no sold gardens, no surprises.
Certain plants — the rose, for instance — have particular needs around light, humidity, and pruning that newcomers often find tricky. The label is gentle guidance, not a wall.
